Campbell, Calif., (March 5, 2013) -Barracuda Networks, Inc. , a leading provider of security and storage solutions, today announced that Info Security Products Guide, the industry's leading information security research and advisory guide, has named Barracuda Web Filter the Gold winner of the 2013 Global Excellence Awards in the Best Security Hardware Product category.

Barracuda Web Filter is a web content filtering solution that enables the connected business to benefit from new technologies and online tools without being exposed to lost productivity, wasted bandwidth, and data loss. Highlighted features include:

• Content/Web Security - enforces granular content and application policies; protects against viruses, spyware, phishing, and other Internet threats; and includes features to optimize network performance.
• Remote Filtering - enforces content and application policies on mobile devices being used outside the corporate network.
